Steelworkers President Leo Gerard is among those worrying that the loss of Ed Schultz from the weekday 8 p.m. slot on MSNBC will hurt the middle class, because Schultz has been such a champion for America's working famliies. And Charlie Kernaghan, director of the Institute for Global Labor and Human Rights, wonders if NBC's corporate structure was tied-in: “The problem is that the ownership of Comcast—they’re not pro-union in any way. They’re like extremists and I think that certainly has something to do with it,” he said.
