Announcing a new campaign to fight call center off-shoring, CWA on Wednesday released new polling showing how deeply unpopular the practice is -- regardless of voters' political affiliation. Across the board, voters also support a variety of proposals to discourage off-shoring, including no tax breaks for companies that send call center jobs overseas. "Very few polls today show the kind of unanimity and the kind of intensity that we find in this poll. The proposals outlined in the poll all receive broad, bipartisan support and are rooted in voters’ core values," said Celinda Lake, president of the research firm that conducted the poll.
