Guild Vote July 17 at Center for Investigative Reporting

Reporters, researchers, copy editors and community engagement specialists will vote July 17 on whether to form a new Pacific Media Workers Guild unit at the Center for Investigative Reporting, based in Berkeley, Calif.

New Providence Executive Council Takes Oath of Office

Congratulations to the recently sworn-in members of Rhode Island's Providence Newspaper Guild Executive Board and Unit Council. Kaplan ESL Teachers Vote to Join New York Guild

By a 2-1 margin Thursday, New York City-based teachers of English as a second language at Kaplan, Inc., voted to join the Newspaper Guild of New York, the company's first employees to unionize. Kaplan is a subsidiary of the Washington Post Co.
